It has been brought to my attention from my good friend `Elandria that D.A. refers to Stock Photography as public domain

public domain
–noun Law.
1. the status of a literary work or an invention whose copyright or patent has expired or that never had such protection.
2. land owned by the government.

Stock is part of the resources gallery, therefore they should have the same or similar information statement.

First thing's first I want to extend my gracious thanks to both $Moonbeam13 and to ^Hanratty-Stock for their prompt response to this issue and to thank them for acknowledging a major copyright issue for stock artist across D.A.

The wording on the Stock Gallery has now been changed by Moonbeam13 to "Stock Photography which the provider has granted a licence for incorporation into other Deviant artists work"

Also I want to thank all the artists and my fellow stockers for their support and kind words on this issue ..

All else I can say is .. back to business

Well unless you have been on some other planet or you have been playing on your Wi, X-BOX or PS 3 then you may have noticed that I have been active again .. yay goes the collective crowd ... well I would like to think they do ...

Anyway ... Yep I am back .. though I seriously don't know if I am firing on all cylinders .. things are still rocky in my life for the mo and if I suddenly have a slip then I apologise to everyone out there, so some thing's will have to change round here for now

In the mean time enjoy the new stock ... I'll be getting on top of notes and stuff soon .. Also thanks to EVERYONE who has devwatched me and faved any of my stuff over the last months or so .. I got behind with them to the count of over 6000 so I am sorry I just got rid of them all and started afresh.

I have had a pretty bad time over the last few weeks but I think it is finally coming to an end so I thought I better let you know I was on the mend....

Thanks for all the kind words from dear friends on the last journal .. I will get round to replying, its you guys that make coming back all the more worth while .

Got some new stock, and I am pretty stoked about it atm .. I really hope you will too .. I wanna get some stuff ready for a real return so just give me a few more days and you can come and hug Mr Causty ... And I might get rid of Evil Causty over there ...

In the middle of darkness there is a light

. . . . . I have actually been this far away from home but that's another story that the Kaiser Chiefs can answer for, Any way the last journal opened with "Winter waves a final good bye as British Summer Time creeps slowly over the horizon" hoping that there was some nice weather on the way .. well so far every plan I have had (Medi faire, knightly combat day out) have all been scuppered by colds or nasty weather sods law I expect. I have ideas aplenty, some local some a lil further afield, we just have to see what 2008 has in store for the weather of this sceptred isle.

So what else apart me making crappy excuses for the lack of new stock (ok I am lazy I have enough here to do a few packs that I will try and get out to you while its quiet here) ... Well I got round to posting my Medieval themed news article [link] so if you haven't been and taken a look then please there is some amazing medieval themed artwork, photography and stock out there on D.A. and its well worth you taking the time to look I am currently working on the plan for the next one .. should be here in about 2 weeks

Well I was finally gonna stop pimping the asses of the amazing Canadian band The Birthday Massacre then the lil bleeders go and release a new EP so yeah go give Chibi and her pals a hug and check out their stuff .. then part with your cash and BUY WALKING WITH STRANGERS ! ! ! ! you will not be disappointed. I have been doing my location scouting work again and have found a few new places one of them is amezin' will take a bit of an organising as I wanna make a bit of a trip out for `Elandria, *Amazonofexeter and myself but I hope things will come off some time soon hang in there we ain't given up yet
